Ready to help customers when a natural disaster happens
We monitor weather events so that we can quickly deploy our claims team to assist customers in need. When a natural disaster happens, we’ll mobilize our ClaimCare Mobile Response Team to provide customers with information and guidance, or if you need to make a claim.
Taking care of customers
We make sure to contact customers right away so that you have the information and guidance you need, or to assist you if you experience a loss due to a covered weather event.
We’re here for you
Experiencing a loss caused by floods, wildfires, or any other insured natural disaster event requires special claims handling. Whether you’re affected by an evacuation order or have to leave your home or property to protect your safety, we’re with you every step of the way.
Your property insurance policy – what’s covered
Your insurance coverage helps pay for the cost to repair or replace damaged property if you experienced a loss due to a covered event.
Your property insurance policy also provides additional coverage
If you are under a mandatory evacuation order, we may advance emergency funds to help you set up temporary accommodations. Any funds issued in advance will be considered when settling your claim.
If you need to leave your home to ensure your safety, you may be able to have some expenses reimbursed.
In both situations, make sure to keep all your receipts for items such as accommodations, food and transportation.
If you are under a mandatory evacuation order, your business insurance policy may have coverage for loss of business as a result of the order.
Please contact your insurance broker to check if you have this coverage and for more information.
