2024 Annual Meeting of Members

Join Gore Mutual at the 2024 Annual Meeting of Members.

As we become a national insurer, we hold true to our modern mutual roots.

In 1839, it all started with a different idea for insurance. If we pulled together, put our resources together, then – together – we would all benefit. It sounds simple, but back then, it was modern thinking. It’s still core to our business as a modern mutual, today.

Mutual benefit

At Gore Mutual, we exist beyond profits and use our business as a force for good. As a Mutual Member, your participation helps focus on collective, long-term rewards over short-term gratification. In turn provides benefits to you and allows us to spread good in our communities.

How to qualify as a Member:

A policyholder automatically qualifies to be a mutual member when they have “Tenure” and a “Qualifying Policy.” You obtain Tenure when you have been a policyholder of Gore Mutual for 10 consecutive years or more (and your Tenure continues as long as you have a Qualifying Policy with Gore Mutual). A Qualifying Policy includes a primary residence insured by Gore Mutual under a specified homeowners’, condo, and/or tenants’ policy. When you qualify as a Member, you will automatically be sent information on how to select your participation and communication preferences. You will receive this information from Computershare, Gore Mutual’s independent registrar and Member communications agent. If you want to participate and receive information, you need to provide Computershare with your preferences using their instructions included on the Member Communication Preferences form.
